Katie Bowman at the age of 18 started up her own business in Dersingham in December 2008. With help from her family and her boyfriend plus a lot of hard work, Katie has transformed the former Pet Shop in Manor Road to a wonderful calm environment, which is now her business and it is called Time Out Beauty Salon.
Katie took her first steps by gaining qualifications in beauty therapy and massage and while she was working on a self-employed basis in a local hair and beauty salon, she took time to go back to college to learn reflexology.
The Salon includes two treatment rooms, one of them with a shower facility, and disabled access, Katie is joined by beauty therapist Jo Barker, who also has qualifications in reflexology.
The salon is open from Mondays to Saturdays and appointments can also be made outside daytime hours for working clients by calling 01485 545964.
