Traces
of a small leak were spotted around Saturday 3rd May 2008. This
got slowly worse and on Wednesday 7th May I noticed some blue
markings had been painted on the ground pointing to the leak. By
this time there was a steady trickle as you can see by the first
photo. Nothing was done that day, nor the next day, and still
today Monday 12th May at 8am nothing has been done. Now take
a look at the photos taken at 8am today (Monday 12th May). Talking
to people living close by say they now can hardly get any water
out of their taps, no it is all gushing down the road. |

How much water was wasted?

A big job ahead, how much easier would it
have been if tackled 10 days ago?

Yes that is a red safety hard hat, a
workman is underneath it!
