TESCO EXPRESS
Planning permission refused

I have just found out that planning permission for the Tesco Express at the former Wheatsheaf Inn has been refused.

Obviously I presume Tesco will appeal.

Here is a copy of why planning permission has been turned down.

 I have been told the following

In Cuffley, Tesco purchased
The Harvester Pub, they
altered the inside and kept
the main fabric of the building.
The front is big shop windows
and sliding doors. The upstairs
has been converted into 3
self contained flats for sale.
They have put in planning
permission for more flats
on part of the old garden area.
What they didn't tell residents
that they were going to open 7
Days a week from 6am until
11pm with deliveries everyday
from 7am.
