Gordon Brown in the photo below is Philip's father, Philip and his son Karl
are following in his fathers footsteps and play in our league for Runcton Holme B

The above photo shows Gordon Brown (left) and his brother Norman who won
the Lynn Championships Men's Doubles in 1937.
(Norman, after leaving school went to work and play in London)
During his table tennis career Gordon won the Men's Doubles again in
1947/50/53 and 58 with four different partners.
He won the Men's Singles title in 1947/8/50 & 51
He also won the Mixed Doubles with two different partners in 1949/50/1 & 53
Finally he won the Veterans Title in 1962/3 & 4
