Monday evening in Heacham Public Hall and it was Hunnys Heroes up against Adrian's Allstars and on table two BT Victory taking on Spivs Specials. Both the top teams were keeping an eye on each other with Victory needing to close the gap on the Heroes. Close the gap they did by two points after the Victory trio of Mary-Ann Woodhouse, Ian Reynolds and Steve Hales defeated a gallant Specials side of Stephen Jackson, Jeff Race and Chris Griggs. Although the score was 9-0 it was mentioned how much all the Specials players had improved. On table one it was a real tough match for the current champions with plenty of four and five enders. Once again it was the Heroes number one Graham Keeley who shone through with a good win over Super Sub Mike Cooper. For the Allstars it was a great win for Mike Nobes in beating Tom Yarrow while Adrian Evans pushed Rob Yarrow to four close ends. The final score was 7-2 to the Heroes.

To play in the Heacham League all you need to do is be TTE registered. If any player is looking for a game please get in touch. Once again we are looking for 'Super Subs'. So what is a Super Sub? They are players who play in other TTE affiliated leagues but would like an extra match or two or more during the season. There is no cost to be a Super Sub as long as you are TTE registered. There is no commitment on your part, if a team is short of a player they will have a list of Super Subs and contact details. They will contact you asking if you can help out and it is your choice to say if you are available or not.
