A GREAT NIGHT TO FINISH OFF THE FIRST HALF OF THE LEAGUE SEASON

Another great night of the 2 player league when the fourth set of matches took place in Heacham Public Hall. Once again it was BT Victory who came away with two impressive wins to stay top of the 2 player league. In their first match their team of Mary-Ann Woodhouse and David Howell beat Hunnys Heroes father and son team of Rob and Alfie Yarrow 12-3. In their second match another big win when they beat Sedgeford Savages Ian Rix and super sub Benji Richardson 11-4. Sedgeford Stars had a good night when Paul Richardson was joined by super sub Bob Richardson and in their first match beat Spivs father and son team of Stephen and Aaron Jackson 13-2. The Stars also had a 12-3 win over Ringstead Raiders duo of Paul Humeniuk and Mark Hipkin. Another team with two wins were second place Adrian's Oldstars when Mike Nobes was joined by super sub Mike Cooper to beat Vips Jim and Jeff Race 9-6. The Oldstars second win was a 11-4 win over Spivs. Hunnys Heroes bounced back in their second match to have a good 12-3 win over a changed Vips side when Kim Mann and Dave Curtis took over from Jim and Jeff. Sedgeford Savages had a big 13-2 win over Ringstead Raiders. As the averages are worked out by ends won there is now no player who has not won an end so there is no player on 0% which is really nice to see.

To play in the Heacham League all you need to do is be TTE registered. If any player is looking for a game please get in touch. Once again we are looking for 'Super Subs'. So what is a Super Sub? They are players who play in other TTE affiliated leagues but would like an extra match or two or more during the season. There is no cost to be a Super Sub as long as you are TTE registered. There is no commitment on your part, if a team is short of a player they will have a list of Super Subs and contact details. They will contact you asking if you can help out and it is your choice to say if you are available or not.
