ANOTHER FUN PACKED NIGHT IN THE 2 PLAYER LEAGUE

Two Player League in action

Another great night in Heacham Public Hall when all 8 teams were in action in the two player league. BT Victory's Mary-Ann Woodhouse and Steve Hales increased their lead at the top of the table after beating Spiv's Specials 14-1 and then Ringstead Raiders 15-0. Sedgeford Stars Dan Witley and Paul Richardson had mixed results at they beat Ringstead Raiders duo Mark Hipkin and Justin Mullins 15-0 but then went down 14-1 to the Super Subs Graham Keeley and Rob Yarrow. Sedgeford Savages pairing of Kerry Smith and John Marrow went down 9-6 to the Super Subs and then lost 11-4 to Adrian's Allstars who had Mike Nobes and Super Sub on loan Mike Cooper. Spiv's Specials Jim Race and Stephen Jackson bounced back after their defeat by BT Victory to win 11-4 over Hunny's Heroes brothers Tom and Alfie Yarrow. Once again I would like to thank those who turned up early to help setting up and as a result we got started on time and again thanks everyone for chipping in with clearing up at the end as we were all done by 9.30pm.

NEXT WEEKS FIXTURES W/C MONDAY 26TH FEBRUARY 2018 ((SPECIAL FORMAT)

Monday 26th February in Heacham Public Hall BT Victory vs Adrian's Allstars
Wednesday 28th February in Sedgeford Village Hall Sedgeford Savages vs Sedgeford Stars
Thursday 29th February in Top Room at Heacham Spivs Specials vs Ringstead Raiders

Please note the road from Heacham to Sedgeford will shut at Sedgeford from next Monday 12th February for three weeks to Friday 2nd March. The closure is from the Snettisham Road Junction to the King William. Although this is only about 70 yards it cuts Sedgeford village in half. This means travelling from Heacham to Sedgeford Village Hall will have to be via Ringstead Road. For BT Victory when travelling to Heacham they will have to make arrangements to avoid this by travelling again via the Ringstead Road. So will all teams please note for the next 3 weeks to allow extra travelling time so matches at all venues can still start on time. I would estimate you will need to allow at least 10 to 15 minutes extra to your journey time.

To play in the Heacham League all you need to do is be TTE registered. If any player is looking for a game please get in touch. Once again we are looking for 'Super Subs'. So what is a Super Sub? They are players who play in other TTE affiliated leagues but would like an extra match or two or more during the season. There is no cost to be a Super Sub as long as you are TTE registered. There is no commitment on your part, if a team is short of a player they will have a list of Super Subs and contact details. They will contact you asking if you can help out and it is your choice to say if you are available or not.
