RESULTS/TABLES/REPORTS
WEEK
3...MONDAY 16TH OCTOBER 2023
Week three and some more great
matches in the normal format of nine
singles games.
On table one it was Adrian's
Allstars up against last years
champions Heacham Knights. The
Knights were without their captain
and number one Mick Forth so it was
left to Kevin Saunders, Ollie Loades
and new signing Chris Griggs. Kevin
once again was in top form getting a
superb maximum but that was the
total points for the Knights as
Ollie and Chris could not find away
to get past the Allstars trio of
Charley Hammond, Trevor Mason and
Mike Nobes who equally shared their
six points for their 6-3 win.
On table two a very close match
between Counter Hitters and The
Inlaws. A fine maximum from the
Hitters Paul Waterman was not enough
for a win as they went down 5-4 with
Ian Rix getting their final point.
For The Inlaws it was two wins each
for Stephen Jackson and Super Sub
Alfie Yarrow while Aaron Jackson
added the final point to secure the
win.
On table three it was a close 5-4
win for Coastal Crusaders over
league leaders The Terriers. Star of
the match was the Crusaders Bob
Richardson who finished with a great
maximum while Leigh McDonald added
their final 2 points. Phil Ball
played well but just lost all his
close games. The Terriers points
came from Graham Keeley 2 wins and a
win each for Janice Howell and Barry
Lemel.
The Terriers still stay top of the
table on 19 points with equal second
on 14 points Coastal Crusaders and
The Inlaws.
Next week back to the Challenge
Format. |
