Last seasons champions Counter Hitters had a close 5-4 win on table one over The Terriers. Paul Waterman was the player of the match with a fine maximum. His support came from Ian Rix with 2 wins. For The Terriers Graham Keeley had 2 wins while Stephen Hunt and Janice Howell both got on the scorecard with a win each over Tim Atkinson.
On table two it was a 6-3 win for The Inlaws over Coastal Crusaders. However it was the Crusaders new boy on the block Jeff Chung who came out player of the match with a great maximum. For The Inlaws all three players Stephen Jackson, Paul Barrett and Jim Race had two wins each all just losing to Jeff.
On table three Hunnys Heroes were in great form when they beat Heacham Knights 7-2. Rob Yarrow was the star player with a great maximum while son Alfie had two wins as did Kerry Smith. For the Knights it was Mick Forth with two wins.
